Plenary Indulgence
During the Holy Year, the Church offers us abundant and generous forgiveness for those who convert from the heart and ask for the total remission of their sins and the restoration of their lives and persons. In this context, the plenary indulgence offered to us on the occasion of the Jubilee, which helps us to definitively heal the wounds of sin and frees us from its consequences, takes on significance. The purification of this temporal punishment opens us to communion with God, with our brothers and sisters and with ourselves, and helps us to give hope to others.

Jubilee Prayer 2025
Father in heaven,
the faith you have given us in
your Son Jesus Christ, our brother,
and the flame of charity
infused in our hearts
by the Holy Spirit,
awaken in us
the blessed hope
of the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us
into dedicated cultivators
of the seeds of the Gospel
that ferment humanity and the cosmos,
in confident expectation
of the new heavens and the new earth,
when the forces of evil are defeated,
your glory will be revealed forever.
May the grace of the Jubilee
rekindle in us. Pilgrims of Hope,
the longing for the blessings of eternal life,
and pour out upon the whole world
the joy and peace of our Redeemer.
To you, eternally blessed God,
be praise and glory
for ever.
Amen.
Francis
